Training Details
A. THOROUGH TRAINING FOR 6
DAYS FROM SATURDAY TO THURSDAY NOON.
- Training is generally
provided in English but can be provided in Hindi or
Gujarati language as well.
THEORY PRESENTATION ON VIDEO CLIPS &
POWER POINT.
[Trainee doctors can see
any presentation for a number of times and note down
interesting points]
- Normal vascular
anatomy and vascular physiology.
- Details of physics and
hemodynamis.
- Doppler application on
different varieties of pathology including rare
entities.
- How to reach up to
diagnosis.
THEORY IN DETAIL ON THE
FOLLOWING TOPICS [ON LIVE CLIPS]
- Lower limb and Upper
limb arterial
and venous.
- Renal Doppler.
- Portal hypertension.
- Aorta Doppler with
superior mesenteric artery Doppler.
- AV malformation.
- Soft tissue Doppler.
[Eye, lymph node, thyroid, soft tissueswelling,
different glands]
- Abdomen Doppler.
REPORTING SESSION
- Separate detailed
reporting session for 3 to 4 hours (contains more than
300 different types
of reports)
- Learn how to report &
what to report. Different types of pathology to be
reported in various systems.
(e.g., for scrotum- includes torsion, orchitis,
epididymiitis, funniculitis, mass lesion, infarct,
abscess,
varicocele, injury etc.).

B. UP DATES ON COLOUR DOPPLER IS FOR SHORT PERIOD (3 DAYS)

C. AT ONE’S PREMISES: 1 DAY EXCLUSIVE TRAINING ON SUNDAY CAN ALSO BE PROVIDED.
PRACTICAL PHYSICS
- Lots of LIVE PHYSICS EXERCISE is given on
machine.
- Setting to get best spectrum and colour.
- Overcoming Aliasing.
Majority of Doppler routine work is covered on:

1. Normal 2. Stenosis
[chronic block]. 3. Acute block 4. Acute on Chronic block.

Anatomy and pathology
are nearly fixed. One can use anatomy chart also.

If one is
thorough in practical physics than Doppler study is easiest job.
Our aim is that we share and explain every bit of our knowledge to
our trainees and we strive for
that and ensure that our trainees get optimum benefit from our
knowledge and experience.
This is what makes our training unique.
We do conduct an assessment of one’s understanding on completion
of the training and provide one with valuable input on the subject.
